About Mrs. Whidden

I am a teaching coach because I love to teach.  I live in Windham with my husband and cat, Brady.  I have three grown children and four grandchildren.  Teaching is a second career for me.  After working in the airline business for 20 years, I lost my job and made a huge decision.  With no college experience and a desire to work with children, I headed to USM.  Once I received my degree and my teaching certification, I  began teaching here at Windham Primary School. I am in my 12th year teaching 2nd grade and am part of a wonderful teaching team of four.
