what's the weather from day one we have looked to provide Equitable access to services for kids at all grade levels across the RC you both and when I'm in Raymond and it has always been difficult for our middle-level students because we have one Middle School $600 Middle School at roughly 180 and so trying to balance our programs and services finally having Oliver middle-level students Under One Roof will be extremely helpful because it allowed to bring the exact same programs to Wyndham kids has the Raymond kids that we're here at 61 Windham Center Road which has been proposed as a site for the new rsu14 middle school and if you look over my left shoulder as we kind of looking pan right directly in front of me is a pringle preserve which is owned by the presumpscot river Land Trust as we head out to the field and you can see the first open filled the air with the horse run in sheds that is the start of the prop that would be used for building the new school and specifically if you head over to the far corner where there's the wide-open field that is the site that has been designated by both our architect and our civil as the best place to go ahead and try to school I would I would definitely say the thing I am most excited about regarding this new school construction project is the opportunity to bring students from two different Middle School together Under One Roof with three levels and some Outdoor Learning spaces so we'll be making use of not only the classrooms and the shared common spaces within the building so but our kids are going to have an opportunity to be involved in some running activities outside the building I think I think that in and of itself can be a Hallmark of the school in so far as regardless of what a student is interested in I really do believe that under this under this construct project a student will be able to find anything they're interested in whether the outdoor education or some experience show Brewery in education with our alternative Ed programs science classes to go outside science classes that make you sad labs in the classrooms I think there be a little bit of something for every student in regards to feel of our the concern of worrying that he knows anything that small tool feel the way the school is built and designed really create a number of small holes within a larger school for example new each level has to grade level for the eighth grade levels split into three smaller which will create that small feeling team has Enola content all the different continent areas but the Allied Arts and they're all focused on that one small group of students in the stairwells down to you know that they're on the stairwell so it's the wrong family their own Community which I think you know speaks to those concerns one of the biggest questions that I received from community members one of the most frequently asked questions I've ever received from community members is what time you're going to happen with the barn and the barn is a wonderful attribute to this particular piece of property we are planning on reusing the bar and we're going to flip it across the driveway many people in town remember when there was a soccer field out front of his property we're going to be restoring that soccer field returning that back to communities in school use it's rare that you get to say that the community has won the lottery and by having a all that's been chosen to participate in the major capital projects for the state of Maine is like winning the lottery this is an opportunity that we have right now in essence for every dollar that the community spending the state of Maine will be putting in $4 and looking at how do we Leverage wants to take advantage of that opportunity so that we have a building that's going to meet our needs for at least the next 50 years
