nominated and so we've nominated nine and eight of whom are sitting here today I'm going to talk to you about that National Honor Society in the National adult education on society demonstrate the Complain who is our president who is going to give away another scholarship take a shower thank you everyone for all the years night thank you that's very cool Shelly said on the president of Sebago Lakes region Chamber of Commerce service 10 Towns and in our region over 300 businesses that we service who is Robert to give out a $500 scholarship so in the past we've done the scholarship that went to a high school graduate resume before it's on the window this year our Workforce Development Committee decided that we wanted to open it up a little bit more and we wanted it to be not just for high-school graduates but also for adults because education is just the same as high school education in your education educational Pursuit this is very symbolic of the business world does asthma make sure you know as well as a business owner every morning to go to work with a smile on your face this is something that you are scholarship through high school he was forced to overcome obstacles and diversity in the letter that we got from Cassidy service 10 Towns we had 10 different School departments and adult education that were all giving us different letters of recommendation sometimes I really showed how far is one person they can come back on the best version of himself he personally knew the student I went to school in food to the store and I heard kind of what was happening until I found out from the award when it was which iron have any setting picking that up to the committee into stop I really see I was growing as a person and I really hope scholarship without a HVAC world scholarship in the state of West Virginia Chamber of Commerce thank you. Congratulations together I just I would like to call out Nick Smith Smith is going to get on our first annual I gotta Memorial open Facebook so I'm presenting the award for Johnny Herrera real scholarship a Windham tool education esol program so I wrote a little something to say before and then I will present the award moving abroad and learning another language is it more so than many of us can comprehend The Bravery efforts and commitment of these people are not unnoticed child support I owe for this scholarship I'd like to ask for Round of Applause to fall of the students who took place in the esol program here at the window the only one wife be on my love for her she was a curious charismatic spirit and a devout proponent of the belief that we never stop learning she spent her professional career working at the University of Enid and live in Chile crafting and promoting continuing education courses for both foreigners and hurkin Patriots therefore no surprise that once she immigrated to the United States she eagerly jumped headfirst into the window adult continuing education program as she saw the value in the sacity and social responsibility of continuing to learn just as many of the students involved in the esol program had the courage to leave behind her family friends culture and language in pursuit of a wife in another what are the greatest facets of this program aside on teaching valuable English language skills is the Multicultural exposure it provides to both the students and therefore through the generous donations of her family and friends this scholarship was formed to honor her Legacy as a lifelong learner and delightful person this award can only be given to one person today I think again we all should give away applies to all of the people who have the courage to move abroad and study another language without further Ado this year's recipient of this scholarship is the La La Land Ferrari electric car window 15 years ago instinctively knew that education was the key to opening doors the American dream she immersed herself in English language program in education and Windham Raymond play Vacation raising a beautiful family and working full-time the ultimate dream was to open her own business in the field of Aesthetics she also realizes she wanted to throw her training in her special in order to be aligned with industry standards and up-to-date on certification her program of study is offered at the spa Tech Institute the road was presented to Gualala with a she needed eyes blue I'll order to attend the post-secondary training this challenge did not stop her she decided to go full-time in the Windham adult education to earn high school credentials while managing her tulip eyebrow threading in Westborough now she's graduating she's an active member within her local community as well as on the Windham Raymond adult education Advisory Board and BJ's very seriously also she was previously tonight inducted into the national adult education Honor Society for her hard work and perseverance so I want to congratulate camping reservations Kamala and thank you again. being here Jerry was a large what to do let me continue to keep her memory alive it's an Alcala Illinois lost will be sharing a beautiful voice with you thank you in the sky I am going to introduce to the two students speakers and they like to be introduced together they going to support each other tell you there are story so I'd like to welcome to the podium Tiana struggling and Devin Townsend thank you family and friends when you get a chance to run away with a 2019 graduate of Wyndham Ravenhill education Welcome to our graduation we could have not done it without our family and friends have an especially like the snake staff of the window adult education all of us to our full potential. Actually has brick walls that we I never do before they helped us overcome and get a milestone in our life that is so important that we have held on and thought about every single day I know they're all of us together struggling trying to get a diploma and I'm sure that we all collectively probably cry about math when we have five significant other that's for sure. I'm sure that the staff indefinitely beyond that but we are so strong and we are determined for this goal we have Rose above and beyond all the odds specially ones to put against ourselves Red Roof Inn of course even though some of us have not been in high school for a couple of years we still had the courage within us to come back and do this even if we had a full-time job we still came here and did our classes and can you make sure and we were taking care of the staff definitely dead and at home they really did they support at home with definitely something that we could not have been able to finish this without now this floor of the freedoms that we have the ability to further our education and I know that song was stilled wish. going back to high school.
